Description Of Practice
My treatment philosophy is that healing occurs when the psychological and the spiritual meet. In addition to helping clients develop insight and self-awareness, I work within their spiritual framework to help them heal. In the information gathering stage of the work, I do an in-depth assessment of my clients' current issues and treatment goals. The past is reviewed only in so far as it may be impacting the present. The client and I form a partnership for healing. Spirituality enters into the treatment to the extent that the client feels comfortable. The use of rituals as a tool for healing are a big part of my spiritual work. In terms of my personality, I am direct, very interactive and use humor frequently in my work.
