Description Of Practice
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families, and I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My approach to therapy is one that values the worth of my clients and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I do not treat my clients as patients who need to be “fixed.” Instead I see my clients as fellow human beings who may feel stuck for one reason or another in their pursuit of the life they seek.
I strive to provide an environment that is conducive to helping my clients rediscover their way. During sessions I treat my clients with unconditional positive regard (no judgment here), I genuinely listen to what they have to say, and I never downplay their feelings or experiences.
To maximize the benefits of therapy, I believe it is important for clients to trust their therapist. I offer a free initial consultation to help you determine if I will be a good match for your or your family's needs. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
