I founded and ran a nonprofit organization called the Mothers Connection in 1983. A grassroots volunteer organization for mothers by mothers. By the time I stopped running it in 1986 we had over a 100 member families. We offered support and education groups, for moms and had child care workers trained in developmental child care. This organization still exists today and has served thousands of families over the years. It is based on the idea that mothers are wise and provide the best information and support for other mothers. In 1990-1995 I founded and ran Creative Potentials, a nonprofit counseling center. area.
